Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Michigan honors locals

ABC Greater Michigan Chapter recently held its annual meeting and awards ceremony at Apple Mountain in Freeland. Dozens of companies were recognized for safety, construction and more at the Greatness & Gratitude Gala.

The chapter was proud to announce the member companies that have been recognized for the 2021 Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP). STEP recognizes ABC member companies that consistently excel in safety, but – most importantly – to provide an evaluation tool to help identify areas contractors can work in to achieve the ultimate goal – every employee home safely every day send to their families. STEP is designed to provide an organized approach to analyzing and further developing a contractor’s safety and loss prevention program. It also provides a valid, objective method to measure improvements in safety programs.
