Carpet: Dealers pick their star performers

By Ken Ryan—There are so many reasons why flooring stores are drawn to carpet. For starters, carpet offers good margins, is easy to install and is made in the USA, which means faster turnaround times for specialty stores.

Many experienced retailers remember a time when carpet was their main product, long before LVT emerged. Today, retailers bask in the glow of the carpet revival, with the residential sector growing at double-digit numbers for the first time in recent history as more expensive goods, stylish patterns and vibrant colors resonate with homeowners.

Dream Weaver
