Corporate and state officials announced the expansion on Thursday. According to a release, the expansion represents 28 new jobs and an investment of $13 million.
Following the acquisition earlier this year, company officials decided to keep the Nashville headquarters, which had more than 200 employees. Firestone Building Products is now owned by Holcim, a Swiss company.
Governor Bill Lee and Commissioner for Economic and Community Development Bob Rolfe have not disclosed terms for potential incentives for the expansion.
“As we welcome Firestone Building Products to the Holcim family, we are excited that the headquarters will remain in Nashville,” said Jamie Gentoso, president of FBP and global head of solutions and products at Holcim. “Many of our employees and leadership team are already part of the local community, and Nashville’s status as one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities provides a wealth of talent as we continue to build our team and grow our business.”
