Chattanooga, Tenn.—This spring, Xpress Global Systems (XGS) said it is upgrading its service center locations in Kent, Wash. and Tracy, Calif. The enhanced facilities increase its warehousing space and provide additional delivery days to its route guides.
The Kent, Wash., service center will relocate to its new address on April 1, 2022. The new facility is located less than one mile from its current location and provides an additional 55,000 square feet in warehousing space for customer’s flooring supply chain needs, according to the company.
Customers storing products in the current warehouse will be moved free of charge.
The Hayward and Sacramento facilities will officially close on April 8, 2022, and merge into a new 117,000-square-foot location here.
For its warehouse customers, XGS said it will move its customer’s products to the Tracy Service Center at no charge, and service will continue out of the new location without disruption. If a customer elects not to continue warehousing in Tracy, the product must be picked up by the move dates below. Any product not removed by the move dates will automatically be transferred to the new location, according to the company.
